Throughout the year I have the privilege of photographing several families who are here in San Diego for vacation. I know I may be biased, but San Diego is one of the best cities to vacation in! From gorgeous beaches, to the world famous San Diego Zoo, there’s no shortage of things to do while you’re here. I can’t think of a better way to savor your family time then with family photos. And my number one spot I recommend when people reach out to me for family vacation photos, is Coronado Beach.
Coronado Beach Family Vacation Photos
Beaches in San Diego can get very crowded, especially in the summer. One of the reasons I choose Coronado Beach for family photos, is because it is a very wide and open beach, with lots of places to take photos. Even on a crowded summer weekend, I can still find an open spot with few people in the background. Coronado Beach is extremely accessible with lots of parking on the street, just steps from the beach.
Coronado Beach Provides a Variety of Backdrops for Family Photos
As an all-inclusive family photographer, I love giving my clients large galleries with a variety of pictures. Coronado Beach provides my clients with a variety of backdrops for their gallery. From the sand dunes that spell out CORONADO (did you know this?!) to the iconic Hotel Del, to the waves with Pt. Loma in the background, there’s no shortage of beautiful spots to pose families for photos.
This family was here on vacation from Northern California. With one daughter married and another leaving for college soon, their session was a beautiful way to capture their time together.
